One of my favorite movies is called 50 First Dates, and it’s about a girl named Lucy who suffers from a weird disease, thanks to a car accident. This disease, which affects the brain, makes Lucy forget everything she does over the night. Henry, with whom Lucy engages a relationship before her accident, makes a tape for her, so she can watch it every morning and remember the accident she had; therefore she understands everything that is going on in her life. Due to the fact that Lucy forgets everything, Henry makes her fall in love with him every day. Until there’s a point where Lucy decides that is not fair for Henry to take care of her all the time. As a result, Lucy erases Henry from her diary and breaks-up with him. But at the end they get together again and live happily ever after.
ReplyDeleteI love this movie because this guy makes huge sacrifices for his girlfriend. Also, the actors make a great performance, both of whom are my favorite actors. Another thing that I like about this play is the soundtracks and the setting (not sure if this is spelled right); the movie takes place in Hawaii, where they have beautiful beaches. In addition, the songs selected for the movie are great; including “Amber” by 311, “Over the rainbow/What a wonderful World” and “Wouldn’t it Be Nice” by The Beach Boys.
Overall, this is nice, clean, clear writing with good, varied sentence structure and great use of clauses.

Movie "Exam", which is British psychological thriller, is one of my favorites. Although, the concept of the movie is simple, details make it complicated. Film is about 8 applicants being tested for a plum job with a bio-engineering firm, only one of whom can get that position. They have 3 rules of the exam and 80 minutes. Every candidate has a piece of paper which has applicant's number on it. Test has only one question and one answer. Applicants turn over their question papers which appear to be completely blank. Answer is not the only problem on that exam. They need to find out the question.
ReplyDeleteI like that movie due to 2 reasons. First reason why I like it is the fact that, it shows what people are able to do to get their dream jobs. Under the pressure they become ruthless and heartless. They respect only 3 rules, which were said in the beginning of the exam. When they have chance to earn big money, the ethical principles don't exist for some of them. Second, the ending is unexpected. The movie keeps me in tension because till the end I can't guess the question that is totally surprising. The test question, which turns out to be easier than everyone thinks, was clearly said in the beginning of the exam. Watching this movie you need to pay attention to the details.These movie is interesting because it shows people's behaviors in stressful situation and the ending is unexpected.

Although I did not review the chapter on articles in the grammar book, I think it would be a good idea for you to do it on your own. I understand everything you say without the articles, but to write properly, you need to use them :) You use them sometimes but not consistently. (The movie "Exam;" a British psych. thriller; the details make it complicated; the first reason why I like it; when they have the chance to earn).
One of my favorite movie is "memento" which is written and directed by Christopher Nolan. This file is a complicated head spinning adventure. Leonard, the main character, got involved in an incident. His wife was murdered by two criminal in front of him, and he got hit in his head by them. He is determined to avenge his wife murder, but after he got injured, he is got amnesia which is a loss of ability to create new memories, he can only built 10 minutes memories. Therefore He tries to connect his memories by using Polaroids, notes and tattoos.
ReplyDeleteThe reason why I like this movie is the way it shows us. The movie starts last and goes back to the short term past which is his scattered memories. It makes us to face the same situation as he. He search his memory by using his photos, notes, and tattoos, and have to think what he has to do next before loses his memories. I thought this is very a refreshing approach. Although we can remember things happened in the movie, so we can connect his scattered memories and reveal startling evidence. We can enjoy this file as many times as we see. Every time we can find out the hidden truth in this film.

My favorite movie is Limitless and the star of this movie is an actor whom i like the most. its about a writer who is trying to be famous. unfortunately, his writing abilities wasn't that good enough to be published. Then one day, he pumped into his x girlfriend brother on the street. his x girl friend brother whom engaged with a lot of problems with the gangsters offered him a pill that will change his life forever. the pill which he took gave him the ability to access all of 100% of his brain power. then the action begin. :P i don't want to rowen the movie for those whom didn't have the chance to watch it.

One of the best movies I have ever seen is Mission Impossible 4. A part of the movie, which stars Tom Cruise, was filmed in Dubai. The movie talks about the complex relationship between the US and Russia. In the beginning, Sabine Moreau, who is a Russian assassin kills an American agent. Then, two American agents go to Kremlin, which is a historic complex in the middle of Moscow, to steal some precious codes. During the mission, a huge explosion occurs in Kremlin. Though the Americans are in the Kremlin, they aren't the makers of the deed. But, the blame is already pointed on them.

A part of the movie takes a place in Dubai, where I used to live. Furthermore, the movie stars a combination of good actors/actresses whose performances are great.
